How to make a paper snowman with your own hands? DIY paper snowman - a fun activity for the whole family

To create a New Year's atmosphere and home comfort in the house, they create a lot of homemade items for decoration. The main figures of the holiday: Father Frost, Snow Maiden and Snowman. The easiest way is to make a cute snowman. Every home has everything needed to make it. Even kids can do it. They love to cut, tear, crumple, glue and color paper. The process of making a homemade product is so simple that only a little adult supervision is needed, and children can handle it themselves.

Thanks to the creative imagination and skillful hands of manufacturers, the variety of options for paper snowmen is impossible to list. Here are some of them:

  • Flat snowmen. They decorate windows, showcases, and doors. Small figures are used to make greeting cards. Sometimes flat figures are made into slotted ones; on windows and glass, with appropriate lighting, they look magical. You can make a New Year's garland from flat figures.
  • Three-dimensional snowmen made using different technologies from crumpled paper, paper balls, and papier-mâché. Three-dimensional figures decorate and make any room festive.
  • Three-dimensional snowmen made using the quilling or origami principle. They can be used in cards, holiday compositions with other New Year's characters.

Required materials and tools:

  • We begin to make a base from two white A3 sheets. We crumple one sheet, unfold it to its original size, and repeat these steps again until the paper becomes very soft.
  • We do the same actions with the second sheet. Then we fold the first sheet, tucking all the corners inward, into an even ball, squeeze it tightly in a fist and place it in the middle of the second sheet. We hide the corners and form a ball - the lower part of the snowman.
  • In the same way, we make the middle part of the figure from one sheet. From an A4 sheet we crumple the head. We make ball-shaped pens from halves of A4 format, forming two balls.
  • Glue a cone-shaped carrot from an orange square measuring 8x8 cm. Glue it to the head and glue all parts of the craft together. How to make a bucket out of paper: roll a red paper strip into a cylinder and glue it into a tube. We attach it to the snowman's head.
  • We complete the work by gluing a scarf onto the snowman’s neck from a blue paper strip (1×18 cm).
  • Use felt-tip pens or paints to paint the figure.

Paper craft

In this master class we will tell you how to make a snowman out of paper using the quilling technique. It is simple, does not require special skills or materials, but looks beautiful and fashionable. Quilling is the process of curling strips of paper.

What you need for work:

  1. Quilling paper.
  2. Sheet of cardboard.
  3. Tweezers, cotton wool, glue.

Instructions:

  • We twist two circles from paper quilling strips. You can take plain paper and cut it up to 5 mm wide. If the length of the strip is not enough, glue the next strip.
  • Glue both circles together. From multi-colored paper strips we twist a hat into a cone with a paper pompom. Glue it to the head. Glue on two black eyes, a paper carrot twisted from an orange strip, and a paper scarf.
  • This is the simplest option in the quilling technique. You can make a snowman with arms and legs in the form of circles, mittens, and boots. Make an applique on a postcard.

Volumetric model

Making this snowman requires more time, skill, patience and perseverance than previous crafts. For those who have already learned how to make Christmas tree decorations by folding paper into a fan and gluing them into Christmas balls, the process of making it will be simple and easy.

What you need for work:

Instructions.

A light, airy craft made from two paper balls that look like lanterns. If you make several of these snowmen, they can become a decoration for the New Year's garland to decorate the room.

Materials for production:

  1. Two sheets of white paper and pieces of colored paper.
  2. Markers.
  3. Glue, scissors.
  • Cut white paper into strips. One sheet is thinned lengthwise, so that there are long stripes, the second - across, for short stripes.
  • Glue the strips into two balls. Paint the top one as a head with eyes, a smile, a drawn or paper nose; on the bottom draw buttons. Glue the balls together. Glue its base to a button or flat piece of metal to make the snowman stand.
  • Place a prepared paper mold on the head or glue a bucket of bright cardboard.

Large volumetric version

This snowman will turn out big because balloons are used to make it.

You will need three balloons, corrugated paper, newspapers, flour paste, cardboard, tape, fabric. Making this large snowman will be easy for those who love to make papier-mâché.

Inflate three balloons. We cover them with newspaper. Let's connect together. We cut strips of white corrugated paper, fold them in half, cut them and glue them onto the figure. After drying, decorate it to your liking. You can put a snowman anywhere, but it’s better near a decorated Christmas tree.

Sweet snowman made of corrugated paper

Cut a long piece from a roll of paper and roll it into a tube. In the bottom we will put a round lollipop or any candy - this will be the base of the snowman. Let's put a smaller candy in the upper part, this is his head. We wrap the cylinder on both sides, covering the candies. We tie the scarf tightly at the neck, separating the head from the body. We put a paper cap on his head and place the snowman in a cotton snowdrift.

A DIY paper snowman will decorate the New Year's holiday and will be at home in any family. It will create a festive mood, become a toy for a baby or packaging for a New Year's gift. A garland of snowmen will decorate a nursery or a hall for a New Year's party. Paper snowmen made with your own hands are one and only. It is impossible to talk about all the options for their manufacture.

Attention, TODAY only!

To spice up the look of your home this Christmas and New Year, try creating a DIY snowman holiday decoration. This craft will find its place both on the table and on the Christmas tree as a toy. Application is limited only by your imagination. The toy will be even more interesting and beautiful if you make it voluminous. A voluminous snowman looks beautiful from all sides and does not take up much space. Take all the necessary tools and be patient - your creation begins.

You will need:
  • PVA glue.
  • Sheets of thin paper.
  • Brush, pencil.
  • Round shape.
  • Threads.

To begin, take a piece of paper. Its size can be any, because it all depends on what kind of snowman you want: small, like a keychain, or large, like a figurine.

Cut out an even circle from paper. It's better to use some kind of shape rather than draw a circle by eye. A compass, baking dish, plate or any other round object will suit you.

After that, you need to cut this circle into even pieces. Again, you will have to choose the length of the cuts yourself. For example, in this photo the distance between the cuts is 3 centimeters.

Now run this algorithm:

  • Take your paper circle and quickly dip it into a bowl of water.
  • The paper should be completely submerged in water.
  • Pull out the sheet and quickly place it on a towel.
  • Let the water soak into the towel.

Be careful as the sheet is easy to tear when wet.

Place a wad of cotton wool or padding polyester inside the sheet. Pieces of light fabric will also work, as long as it is not heavy.

Press down the filling well until it comes together into a pile. Now fold the sheet of paper into a bag, enveloping this filler. You can overlap them a little so that the ball is round. Tie the paper bag with thread or sew the ends for greater strength.

Once you've done this, set the lump aside and let it dry.

Now the snowman needs to make handles. They should be spherical in shape. It is not at all necessary that they be perfectly even, it will be even more interesting.

Take PVA glue, filler and paper. Cut out a circle from the paper again, but now you need two of them. Make deep, even cuts and dip the sheet in water.

Repeat the same steps as with the snowman's head, only the bag needs to be glued and not tied, since the knot will interfere with its attachment to the body.

It's time to create the body. You can choose from two options: make the body out of balls, just like the head, but choose a larger diameter, or make the body teardrop-shaped - this is faster and looks no worse.

Cut out a drop-shaped shape from paper, then exactly the same one, but a little smaller. Make the diameter of the bottom side larger than the head.

In one form, which is larger, make very small cuts along the edge, they may be uneven. Fold the shape further.

Glue the two pieces together, but do not glue the neck.

Start filling your body with padding polyester or cotton wool. It is better to do this with a pencil, pen or other thin object, so you will not damage the part.

As soon as the body takes on a voluminous appearance and is rounded, fill it enough. Glue the neck together.

All that remains is to connect all the parts together with PVA glue. To make the snowman beautiful, add decor: a hat, nose, legs, eyes and buttons. If the snowman came out angular, then you used too hard paper. Moisten the corners with water with a brush and leave to dry for a while - the corners will soften.

There are so many options that you can use to make a snowman out of paper.

So, for example, the most simple option to make a snowman out of paper is to take white paper, cut out one third of a circle from it, then you need to draw eyes, a mouth, roll the paper into a cone, glue the ends of the cone together.

You need to cut a circle out of colored paper, make a cut, thread it through the end of the cone, this will be a hat for the snowman.

We make a nose for the snowman from orange colored paper and carefully glue it to the main part. You need to cut out a small strip from corrugated paper, cut the ends into small pieces, and glue it onto the snowman’s neck. This will be a scarf. You need to cut out mittens from the same paper and glue them to the snowman.

Second option make a snowman out of paper. To do this, you should cut out a small rectangular square from paper, glue a vest to it, in the middle you need to make eyes, a mouth, then you can make a nose for a snowman.

The next step is gluing the snowman. You need to glue it together to make a cylinder. We apply the finished cylinder to the paper, trace and cut out the cap.

Handles can be made of paper, while slightly twisting them.

The result is a beautiful snowman that will delight both adults and children.

You can make it out of paper next snowman. For this you will need: white paper, glue, colored paper, scissors.

You need to make airy squares from white paper so that they look like a folded parcel, we make several squares that we glue together. You can take small boxes of matches and pack them in white paper. Then you need to put all the parts of the snowman together. Make a nose, a cap, and hands.

Very beautiful and interesting way, is to make a snowman using plasticine and corrugated paper.

We make a medium-sized ball from plasticine, roll the corrugated paper into small tubes, glue it to the plasticine, make the tubes fluffy.

This is how we make several tiers of a snowman.

You can make a paper snowman in a simple way, this is to take white paper, cut out a large circle from it, to this circle using plasticine we glue two circles cut from corrugated paper, just glue it in the middle, the lower and upper parts of the snowman need to be fluffed. In the same way as the first tier, we make a second one for the snowman, so that he is more fluffy and looks like a real one. We make eyes and buttons from beads. It turns out to be a simple but beautiful snowman for the New Year.

A snowman can be made from cardboard roll toilet paper, white paper.

To do this, you should cover a cardboard roll of toilet paper with white paper and glue on eyes made of beads. The hat can be made from fabric or from unnecessary children's tights.

There are many options for making a snowman out of paper.

Hello everyone, today we will make a lot of paper snowmen with our own hands. It turns out that there are simple and quick ways to make a snowman from ordinary paper (office white, toilet paper, newspaper - any). Today we will look at all these crafts in one article. All paper snowmen are collected on this site. I will provide diagrams, templates and drawings for these crafts. We also have other articles about Snowman crafts... there we will look at other, non-paper, ways to assemble a snowman.

Let's start making snowmen with our own hands from paper and related materials. And may we have a New Year's miracle.

Snowman made of paper and cotton wool

Crafts-appliques.

These are the fastest and easiest ways to make a beautiful fluffy snowman - based on a paper template. The template can be any shape (see photo below). We coat the paper template with PVA glue and place a layer of cotton wool on the glue. On top of the cotton wool we glue an applique of the nose, eyes and buttons made of paper. We complement the image of a snowman with a hat, cap or knitted cap.

You can print out any template or drawing of a snowman from the Internet, of a suitable size, and just cover its belly with a layer of cotton.

In kindergarten you can make a simple applique from cotton wool and colored paper.

Paper snowman

CRAFTS FOR CHILDREN.

At school, during creativity and technology lessons, you can make snowmen with your children from paper napkins and crepe paper. Expand the napkin to its full size. We put a couple more napkins on top of it for density, also unfolded. Place a wad of paper in the middle of the napkin square and lift the edges of the napkin up. It turns out that the lump lies below as if in a bag. We tie a string over it and form a tummy. And now, on top of the knot of the tie, between the edges of the protruding napkin, we place another smaller piece of paper. We close the edges of the napkin around it and also tie them with a string. Next, we hide the napkin tail sticking out on the top of the head under a snowman’s cap rolled out of crepe paper. The hat can be made in the form of a cylinder from thick colored paper.

Also at school, children can already make their own snowmen from toilet paper rolls. We cover the rolls with white gouache. dry and draw eyes and nose over the tone. We wrap a tube of crepe paper on top... We tie the top of the tube with twine and hide it under the pompom, or leave it like that.

And for kindergarten there will be a simpler craft, without ropes and windings that are difficult for children’s hands. Here the child is simply given a cardboard silhouette of the top of a snowman. The kid decorates it with an applique of a hat, nose, eyes and hands, and then this cardboard is inserted into a slot made vertically in a toilet paper roll. It turns out like in the photo below.

Here are some more ideas for paper snowman crafts for kids, where he stands upright. Such voluminous snowmen are supported by a double silhouette (front and back) with a common bottom at the bottom(as in the photo below).

Either we have one cardboard silhouette - but it stands vertically due to cross beams inserted into the slots on the bottom of the snowman. This is how the craft is made in the photo below

Children in a circle can also make three-dimensional snowmen from paper origami modules. A snowman using the modular origami technique is made in three lessons. The modules come together very quickly, just like a construction set. Time is spent only on folding the modules themselves - you need quite a lot of them.

Paper snowmen

PACKAGING FOR CANDY.

From paper you can make a New Year's gift wrapping for candies in the form of a cute paper snowman.

The pattern of such a craft looks like a DOUBLE image of a snowman along the bottom fold with a cut round hole on the top layer (where the belly is) so that the candy is visible.

Or, as an option, you can simply make a flat silhouette of a snowman out of paper and stick a round transparent container with candies onto his belly.

You can assemble a convenient snowman box out of paper for a New Year's gift. Children will really love this simple craft. The drawing of the box is very simple - it is easy to cut out of paper and assemble. Gluing occurs only on the side parts. We decorate the front part of the box in the form of the face of a smiling snowman.

You can create your own box crafts and decorate them using a paper snowman cut out of cardboard and colored using construction paper applique.

Triangular boxes for New Year gifts can also be made in the shape of a paper snowman. You can make an ordinary paper pyramid using a standard pyramid drawing. And decorate such a pyramid with a round piece of paper - with the eyes and nose of a snowman

The design of your snowman pyramid can be anything. And the shape of the pyramid itself can be any - low and wide or thin and tall.

Below I give two diagrams for the size of an A4 sheet - you can print these pictures to a printer.

If you want to make a larger snowman - that is, you need a pyramid for a large gift, then this is how we will do it. We fold 2 blanks from paper - square(any size, whatever you want the bottom of the box to be)... and then triangle any shape BUT MAINLY WITH THE BOTTOM SIDE EQUAL TO THE SIDE OF A SQUARE.
And then on a large sheet of paper (drawing paper for example) we will outline these blanks - a square and circle the triangle four times, applying it in turn to all sides of the square.

That is, in the middle of a large sheet we outline a square template. Next, take the triangle template, apply it close to one side of the square, and trace it with a pencil. Then they applied it to the second side of the square and also traced it with a pencil, then to the third and fourth. And then they drew triangles on the sides gluing zones(we draw strips of any thickness by eye; they can be crooked and uneven; it doesn’t matter; they will still go inside the pyramid).

By the way, if you want to make a snowman pyramid with a TRIANGULAR BOTTOM of the box, then the drawing will look like this (see photo with the diagram below). Template size for A4 sheet.

Snowman from a newspaper.

Paper craft for the New Year.

Here is another interesting way to make your own snowman from newsprint. This snowman is literally MOLDED BY HANDS from newsprint. Layers of newspaper are like layers of snow rolled into a ball. The newspaper is covered with white paint (gouache will do, but you will need a lot of it, so it is better to choose white facade paint, a liter jar in the construction department of a store will cost less than the same volume of gouache).

We take sheets of newspaper and crumple the first sheet into a ball, trying to give it a round shape. We wrap this paper ball with another sheet of newspaper, then with another one - we build up the ball. For a snowman, we need two round balls (or maybe slightly oval, irregularly shaped - that’s not a big deal). We roll individual sheets of newspaper into elongated pear-shaped shapes, securing them with tape so that they do not unroll.
We join the resulting parts (head, torso, arms) together using tape. Next we paint it with paint. At the same time, wet paint will smooth the newspaper, flatten rough edges and reduce unevenness in the coating.

The shape of your NEWSPAPER BALL can be absolutely any. Even crooked or irregularly shaped like a mountain. Know that after you paint the mountain white, glue on the nose, the buttons on the eyes, put on a hat and tie a scarf - your strange pile of newspaper will turn into a snowman.

YOU CAN DO WITHOUT PAINT if you cover the wads of newspaper with WHITE OFFICE PAPER... it’s better to choose thin paper, it adheres better... For pasting, you can use wallpaper glue or buy a bucket of PVA glue in the construction department of the store.

Painting tape for covering windows will help fix the newspaper into even round balls.

The hat can be made from a glass or yoghurt jar and a round sheet of cardboard. We connect them, cover them with pieces of newspaper and paint them in the desired color.

The color, design, shape of the hat can be ANY - at your discretion and your imagination.

The nose, eyes and convex buttons can be MOLDED from PAPER DOUGH. The dough recipe is simple: tear the toilet paper into pieces and put it in hot water. We squeeze out the resulting mass with our hands, add a little flour and PVA glue and sculpt the elements we need from such paper plasticine. We stick toothpicks into them and wait for the dough to dry. Then we paint the dry paper parts with gouache, spray them with hairspray to make the paint shine, and stick them into the snowman.

Paper snowman

FROM BALLOONS

Using papier-mâché technique.

And now my favorite technique. Very fast and simple. And as a result, we get a very large and beautiful craft. And light from weightless paper.

The snowman in the photo below is made in 3 hours - an hour and a half one evening and an hour and a half the second. It needs to dry overnight.

In the photo below we see that the CONVEX buttons, legs and eyes of the snowman are made from FOAM BALLS cut into halves. This is a good idea.

First, we inflate three balloons - the size of the inflation is your choice. Think about the size of the snowman's head, chest and butt you need. We glue each ball with pieces of newspaper soaked in a bowl of PVA glue or WALLPAPER GLUE.

You need to cover the entire ball with such pieces of newspaper... in 2-3-4 layers.

Then we leave it all overnight to dry into a solid crust. We paint the crust white and decorate the snowman with details.

You can simplify the task and make a snowman craft - based on ONE BALL, as in the photo below.

Or you can get by with TWO BALLS.

Paper snowman

and toilet rolls.

Toilet paper rolls can become the base frame for a paper snowman. This is such a cute DIY job in the photo below.

The rolls are coated with white paint and glued together with a glue gun or regular office STAPLES.

When we have a ready-made silhouette from rolls that looks like the BIG EIGHT, then we cover this frame with sheets of white paper. And on top of this we make a snowman applique.

SNOWMAN WITH PAPER FRINGE

we do it with our own hands.

White crepe paper is easy to cut into strips... and they are cut into fringes.
We make a snowman frame (from paper, from cardboard, from bushings, from whatever) and then we cover this frame ROW BY ROW with strips of paper fringe.

You need to start gluing from the very bottom row and gradually move up. The work is really fast. The snowman acquires fringe in a matter of minutes. The only difficulty is cutting these fringe strips. And the rest happens very quickly and is not difficult.

You can paste fringe over BALLOONS as was done on the snowman craft in the photo below.

You can also use a frame for gluing if you buy paper lanterns - 2 pieces and tape them together. Also a quick and simple framework.

You can use not only crepe paper, but also office or white toilet paper. It is already in rolls, it is convenient to wind it, cut it into thin strips, fringe each strip with scissors and wrap our snowman craft.

Below we see a master class on how to create this craft - the basis of a round Lump of NEWSPAPER

The twig handles for the snowman are also wrapped in newspapers and covered with brown gouache.

Paper snowmen

(or cardboard).

If you draw a FAN of a snowman on paper, then in one minute it gathers into round balls of paper, hollow inside. From three such balls we assemble a snowman.

Snowman FACETED

paper gluing.

Here is an example of a craft where the snowman looks like a polyhedron made of paper. A three-dimensional paper snowman craft is actually easy to make with your own hands. The TRIANGLE PATTERN is taken as a basis. And using this template, a drawing of a snowman is drawn.

In the photo below we see that the drawing is a laying of the same triangle. It is circled many times on a sheet of paper - we get a drawing. Cut it out, leaving space for gluing (cm-wide strips along the edges of the triangles). All that remains is to draw all the fold lines with scissors so that they bend easily under your hands. And glue everything together.

You can DRAW a drawing of a faceted snowman based on a PENTAGONAL SHAPE TEMPLATE.

We do exactly the same - pentagon pattern trace it several times on a piece of paper... cut out the resulting mosaic figure. Apply glue to some edges or places for gluing and assemble a figure close to the ball.

Each craft itself is VERY SIMPLE. If you just carefully look at the photo for a few minutes and mentally imagine the whole process... then you begin to understand that in fact there is nothing complicated at all. And you, too, can repeat all these steps yourself... and get the same result at the end of the journey.
So let's make paper snowmen for this New Year. Such a craft will decorate your home, become the pride of an exhibition at school or kindergarten, and show your child that his parents know how to make cool things with their own hands.

Treat yourself and your family this New Year with a beautiful paper snowman craft.
And may everything work out for you both now and in the new year.

Happy New Year to the author of this article, Olga Klishevskaya.

Everyone knows that a real snowman is made from snow. But it is quite possible to make a small copy of it from paper, which will allow this symbol of winter to live in your home and delight everyone for a long time with its funny appearance, which is no worse than that of a real snowman made from real snow.

A series of video tutorials will tell you how to make a paper snowman with your own hands. There are a large number of different methods and you will get acquainted with the main ones. Even if the weather outside your window is not at all winter, the ability to work with paper will allow you to bring winter mood and the joy of the New Year holiday into your home.

To make a fun garland of paper snowmen holding hands, you need to take an A4 sheet of regular writing paper, fold it in half along the long side and cut along the bend line. Next, fold the two resulting strips in half and in half again. Arrange the resulting rectangles with an accordion, and on the top of them draw with a pencil the contours of a snowman in a hat and with his arms outstretched to the sides.

Next, the paper is cut out along the contour, only the ends of the snowman’s arms remain untouched. If you now unfold the sheet, you will get four identical snowmen holding each other’s hands. By gluing several of these elements together, you can get a long festive garland.

Video lesson:

We will tell you how to make a snowman out of paper. To do this, you will need a sheet of single-sided colored paper, red or blue on one side and white on the other, measuring 20 x 20 centimeters. The further procedure is as follows:

  • fold the sheet diagonally with the colored side facing out, then along the second diagonal;
  • We turn one of the corners of the sheet towards the center, and again direct its tip towards the fold line, this procedure is repeated several times, and a narrow white stripe is obtained;
  • Turning the sheet over, divide the free sides into three parts and fold them according to the markings.

After making a few more bends of the paper exactly according to the instructions in the video tutorial, we get a snowman with a colored cap. Glue on his eyes and draw a red carrot nose.

Video lesson:

It is proposed to make a three-dimensional snowman from pre-designed patterns. The figurine will consist of three balls, for each of which a separate pattern is used. The patterns must be cut out and drawn along the folds with the blunt end of scissors. Additionally, small elements are cut out and glued together, such as the snowman’s hands, his hat, which consists of several parts, a scarf with terry tips, and, of course, his nose.

You can start gluing the balls, which are actually complex polyhedra. The resulting polyhedral balls are glued together, hands and a scarf are glued. The last step is gluing the hat. You can also make a paper bucket for a snowman. The snowman is ready.

Video lesson:

In order to make a snowman, you will need colored paper - white, red, orange and black, with white being the most needed. The body will be wavy circles that need to be cut out of white paper, having previously marked it. There are two such elements, of different sizes. They can be just round, but wavy ones look more interesting.

The third element is necessarily round - this is the snowman's head. A hat consisting of two rectangles of black paper is glued to the head. The hands of a snowman, reminiscent of branches, are made from black paper. You can use orange paper to make a nose for a snowman. From red - two buttons in the shape of hearts and a contrasting stripe for the hat. All that remains is to glue it all together.

Video lesson:

The snowman design consists of many small triangular paper modules that can be connected to each other. By sequentially connecting the modules into a ring and joining several of these rings to each other in the quantity indicated in the description, we get a large ball of 16 rows, somewhat reminiscent in structure of a pine cone.

The mobility of the walls of the ball requires constant alignment of the moving structure to give it a spherical shape. The body ball gradually turns into the head ball. The snowman's hands, mouth and eyebrows are made of corrugated paper, and the eyes are made of velvet paper. The carrot nose in the shape of a cone is made from red paper. The snowman's hat is also assembled from modules. The design used 946 white modules and 176 colored ones.

Video lesson:

To make a snowman that you can put on a window or hang on a Christmas tree, you will need a sheet of two-color paper. The square sheet for marking is folded alternately along two diagonals. One of the corners of the square is bent so that it reaches the center, and bent back. After several folds, you get a white stripe on a colored background.

The figure turns over and the side corners fold toward the center, slightly crossing the center line. Again, turn the work over and bend the sheet away from you, then along a parallel line toward you. All bends must be done carefully, watching the video instructions. All that remains is to glue on the eyes and the sharp nose.

Video lesson:

In order to create such a piece of furniture, you will need white cotton threads - six skeins and blue cotton threads - two skeins for the snowman's hat. A skein of carrot-colored thread will be used to make the nose. You will also need three round balloons, a lot of glue, Vaseline, cardboard for the base of the nose and a bucket for the base of the hat. To work with glue you will need rubber gloves. The sequence of actions is as follows:

  • balloons are inflated, preferably larger ones, to make a big snowman;
  • the thread is threaded into a needle, and the bottle of glue is pierced through;
  • the surface of the ball is smeared with Vaseline;
  • a thread soaked in glue is wrapped around the ball in a chaotic manner, crossing the threads with each other.

After the glue dries, the ball is pierced and deflated, leaving balls of thread.

Video lesson:

The basis of the postcard is a blue sheet of cardboard; you will need scraps of red and black cardboard and white paper. On white paper, using a compass, mark three circles of different sizes, with a radius difference of 1 centimeter. These circles are colored around the perimeter with a felt-tip pen and cut out. These mugs are glued onto a postcard with a layer of thin foam plastic 2-3 millimeters thick. The circles are attached concentrically.

It turns out a snowman in top view. You can attach handles and a scarf to it. The letters “Happy New Year!” are cut out of paper. and pasted onto the postcard. You can also glue snowflakes. This card is an excellent gift for loved ones for the New Year.

Video lesson:

In order to make such a snowman, you need to prepare 257 triangular modules and 52 yellow modules. Another video explains how these modules are made. The first and second rows of modules have 17 elements each. They interlock with each other and form a circle, which turns its sharp ends upward.

The third row of modules is put on them, followed by the fourth, put on only one protrusion. Continuing in this way, we make five more rows. The result is a three-dimensional structure resembling a scaly cone.

The last rows are put on three protrusions: the diameter of the “bump” decreases. A snowman's hat is made separately from yellow modules.

Video lesson:

A toy is made from paper, one side is colored - blue or red, and the other is white. At the first stage, a sheet of paper is folded so that the fold lines serve as markings. First, a square is formed from the sheet, the excess is cut off. Next, fold the square alternately along two diagonals, as well as into a rectangle.

In this case, the corners are turned inward, and the resulting corners are turned up. This completes the markings, and you can begin making the toy. Following the instructions in the video tutorial exactly, we perform all subsequent bends. In the end, you will get a neat Santa Claus with legs and arms. All that remains is to attach the beard and draw the eyes.
