Good day everyone) Today I want to talk about loose eye shadows that were sent to me by the already well-known craftswoman Anna - Tammy Tanuka. Anna makes eyeshadows by hand, just a sea of ​​incredible shades for all occasions, 5 of which I was able to try.

Shade ME 05 (MoonElf - Walking On A Snowy Trail) is a cool violet-blue shimmer, chameleon, contains a lot of small sparkles.

Shade ME 06 (MoonElf - Stormcaller) is a cool pinkish-brown chameleon, also with glitter.

Shade FR 05 (Fairy - Winter Roses Spirit) - warm pink and cool purple in the tint. Mother of pearl, shimmer is more delicate, these are the most matte shadows of all 5 shades.

The shade Dragonblood - Ice Dragon's Daughter - deep blue, bright, rich, shiny.

The shade Druidess - Snow Wolf is an antique silver color. Sometimes pinkish, sometimes cold-silver, sometimes turning into gold. Also contains a large amount of shimmer, brilliant, the most winter color.

The order in the swatches is: Fairy - Winter Roses Spirit, MoonElf - Walking On A Snowy Trail, Dragonblood - Ice Dragon's Daughter, MoonElf - Stormcaller, Druidess - Snow Wolf. The swatches were made with a flash, but in general the shades of these shadows change so much in different lighting , that even in person it is difficult to understand what they really are. In a word, chameleons.

To show these shadows in all their glory, my friends and I decided to have a mini-bachelorette party, and in the following photos I will show the creation process and the result of our labors - makeup done mainly with these shadows. We only used 3 out of 5 shades; unfortunately, we were missing one more pair of eyes))

My makeup used the shades MoonElf - Stormcaller (pinkish brown) as a sparkly accent and a matte pale pinkish, slightly enhanced by brown from another palette on the outer corners of the eyes.

Since the shadows are crumbly, it is logical that they crumble quite a lot; personally, I am not immediately able to apply them evenly and accurately, I need to get better at this matter. They pick up well on the brush, they also apply quite well and are quite bright; they can be layered to achieve a more saturated color. Works well over other matte eyeshadows.

On Anya, it was decided to show the most beautiful and bright shade - Dragonblood - Ice Dragon's Daughter. Here these shadows are used as the main ones, black matte shadows from another manufacturer are shaded in the outer corner + a black pencil as an eyeliner.

This shade seemed to me to be more manageable in application; it immediately applies more evenly, although it also crumbles quite a lot. When layering, as in the previous version, we get a more saturated color.

This color is simply gorgeous; it creates a beautiful evening makeup using the smokey eye technique.

In terms of durability, these shadows are not the most durable of all the ones I've tried; they won't last a whole day without renewing them; after a 4-hour walk, applied alone and without a base, they crease a little (I have oily eyelid skin and the structure of my eyes is drooping eyelid). Personally, I will use them more often to create accents on top of matte shadows. But they are very, very beautiful and, despite all their capriciousness when applied, I like them, and my friends have already bought two shades from the permanent collection)

I myself act as a colorist, and a technologist monitors the formulas. A colorist is like a color catcher and collector. Therefore, it is of particular interest to me to create my own unique shades. It’s like in potions: a pinch of moon salt, sunflower ashes, essence of wisdom. Only here - base, dyes, effect powders.

Like many brands, we produce some of our products ourselves, and others under contract. We work with several largest factories. We started small: everything was mixed and packaged by hand, like in an old pharmacy. And now we have a small laboratory with operators and a technologist at the head. A foundry department was recently added.

We want to develop unique packaging and anti-counterfeit protection for our shadows. Fakes have flooded the market in the last year. Imagine waking up one morning and you have a clone who is blatantly impersonating you. Not a very pleasant feeling. But one way or another, everyone who creates something faces this. And yes, of course, we have competitors. But I don’t know who they are, we hardly intersect, everyone does their own thing. There were several small noisy stories. However, in our field everything is quite banal, at the level of statements and stuff in the style of: “Did you know that one brand makes eye shadow from toad saliva?” The spectators made noise and dispersed.

I started my own business when I was on the verge of survival, but even then money was not primary for me. And even now money is important primarily for development.
