For this model (sole size 10 cm) you need soft yarn (100% acrylic, 50 g / 200 m) in 2 colors.

We dial 12 v.p. + 3 v.p. (total 15 ch), insert the hook into the 4th loop of the chain from the hook and knit 3 rows according to this pattern.

Having knitted three rows, we move on to another color.

4th row - in each column (back) we knit a single crochet loop. The result should be 56 loops.

We knit the 5th one in the same way. The result will be two rows knitted with white thread.

Again we switch to blue. We start by knitting a “bump” (2 chain stitches, after 2 unfinished stitches, then one chain stitch).

We skip one loop and make a “bump” again.

So knit a whole row and close. We knit the 7th in the same way as the 6th.

We close the row and break the thread. Having marked the middle, we begin to knit the toe with a white thread.

Insert the hook into the back wall of the loop and knit a white “bump” from two unfinished loops.

Turn it over and also knit “bumps”.

There should be 7 pieces, after which you need to connect them.

Finish the row in the same way.

2 more rows and switch to blue again.

We decorate the edge by knitting three air loops for each column.

Handmade Adidas sneakers will be appreciated by true gentlemen.

For this “masterpiece” you will need thin white cotton yarn (100% cotton, 50g/150m), hook number 2 and 3 hours of free time.

We start with the sole. The sole is knitted according to this pattern.

The sock is knitted from the front 30 stitches. 1 row - single crochets, 2 - double crochets (3 loops and one top). There should be 10 loops left.

We connect all 10 columns, move the thread to the beginning of the row and knit 2 rows of single crochets.

DIY summer sandals for a child

If you love children's knitted sandals for the summer, by learning how to knit soles, you can come up with a lot of ideas and create a large number of interesting models.

Fold the sole in half and find the middle at the toe. The middle should be 5 columns. Tie a thread with a regular knot and tie 13 air loops, then attach it to the opposite side of the spout using a half single crochet (dc). Next, knit according to pattern 2 (only what is indicated in blue and dark red). The nose should look like in Fig. 3. Do not break the thread. In the last row you attached 2 half-columns bn to the sole.

Further:
1st row: 3 vp, attach them to pst.b.n. to the strap (skip 3 dc). Work 34 treble stitches. n. and also attach pst. b. n. to the strap.
2nd row: 1 vp and the entire row of st. b.n. = 35 st.b.n.
3rd row: Again 3 v.p. and 34 tbsp. With. n., 4 v.p., 3 tbsp. S.N. in the middle of the strap, ch 4
Next is a row of arches for the ribbon. 5 v.p., st.s.n. through 1 st.s.n. previous row. Senior s.n., 1 v.p., st.s. n. repeat the entire row in a circle.
Start the next row with pst. b.n. in an arch, 4 vp, dc, 1 v. p., senior senior sciences again in the arch. And so the whole series.

Crochet booties for beginners with step-by-step description (crochet).

You can take any cotton threads you like and a No. 2.5 hook. We start with the sole (look at the diagram below).

If you have a hard time navigating the diagram, I suggest you go into more detail at this stage.

We cast on 17 air loops (we start knitting from the 3rd).

1st row: 7 single crochets, 7 single crochets, 7 single crochets in the last stitch (and continue to knit on the other side of our chain), 7 single crochets, 7 single crochets, 4 single crochets in the last stitch, connecting stitch .

2nd row: 3 chain stitches, double crochet in the same base. 14 double crochets, (2 double crochets from one loop) - 5 times, 16 double crochets, 3 double crochets from one loop, 4 double crochets from one loop, 3 double crochets from one loop, connecting stitch.

3rd row: 3 chain loops, 15 double crochets, (2 double crochets from one loop, double crochet) - 2 times, (3 double crochets from one loop) - 2 times, (double crochet, 2 double crochets double crochet from one loop) - 2 times, 16 double crochets, (2 double crochets from one loop, double crochet) - 2 times, (3 double crochets from one loop) - 2 times, (double crochet, 2 double crochet from one loop) - 2 times, connecting stitch.

Row 4: chain stitch, tie the entire row with single crochets, ending with a connecting stitch.

Row 5: 3 chain stitches, knit the entire row with single crochets behind the back half-loop of our sole, ending the row with a connecting stitch.

Row 6: 3 chain stitches, knit the entire row with double crochets, ending with a connecting stitch.

Let's move on to the white thread.

7th row: 3 chain stitches, 15 double crochets, (we knit 2 double crochets together with a common top) - 10 times, finish the row with double crochets, ending with a connecting stitch.

8th row: 3 chain loops, 14 double crochets, (we knit 2 double crochets together with a common top) - 6 times, finish the row with double crochets, ending with a connecting stitch.

We make 5 connecting loops. We unfold our bootie and knit from the inside.

Row 9: 3 chain stitches, 27 double crochets.

For the strap we cast on 20 air loops. Row 10: we knit a double crochet into the fourth loop from the hook, 2 chain loops, skip 2 stitches of the previous row and knit 2 double crochets, knit 2 chain loops again - skip 2 stitches of the previous row and knit with double crochets to the end of the row.

It’s almost ready, so I suggest tying the product with single crochets.

Sew on a bow, buttons and beads.

In this article we will knit crocodile booties; a knitting video will show you how to crochet correctly. They will perfectly decorate your baby's feet and are ideal for gifts. The product model itself is quite original and you can do without any decorations.

Knitting warm booties

The fundamental pattern in this master class is the scale pattern; the pattern is simple and clear.

Such booties can be knitted for children of different ages, both for newborns and older children. For moms, this is a great alternative to regular indoor slippers. In cold winter they will keep you and your baby warm. Having correctly measured the required length of the foot, we cast on the loops on the initial chain.

This example is designed for a length of 7-8 cm.

For work we will need:

  1. Yarn;
  2. Hook No. 3.5;
  3. Optional decoration.

Let's move on to the job description. Let's start with the sole: 0-chain loop (ch), I-dc (dc).

We knit the sole with 54 single crochet stitches. The result should look like this:

We cut the thread and fix it in the middle of the heel.

Now we crochet the “Rib” pattern. We knit convex double crochets, these are the first three photos, alternating them with concave ones. Photos 4, 5, 6.

Using the same pattern we knit 3 more rows. It turns out to be such a boat.

At the toe we begin to decrease.

We look for the place on the heel where the increase was made and count 24 loops.

We knit the central posts (24 pcs.) 2 together. Alternating between convex and concave double crochets, we knit the 5th row.

There are twelve loops in the center.

From the front side we draw a hook under the first 2 sts of the previous row. In the 6th row we knit the middle 12 loops, with a convex post. two each.

Art. s n. We do not knit it completely, we pull the thread.

We put the thread under the previous row, under the 2nd column. We do not tighten the thread completely. Then we knit 2 stitches together.

There should be 6 loops left in the center.

In the center of the 7th row we knit 7 loops with convex stitches. As a result, there should be 6 untied dc. We knit 7 loops into 1.

We knit a row to the back.

Let's start with the elastic band. We begin to form a scaly boot.

We knit 8 ch to the center. add 1 ch of rise, knit 8 connecting loops back, this is for the left column.

We tie the knitted loops to the base.

Don't forget to leave 2 double crochets, we use them as a loop for the fastener.

We knit the scales.

We knit 5 tbsp perpendicularly. s n. between 2 columns.

We also tie the remaining arches with two sts. s n. We unfold the knitted one and begin the next row: 3 in. p., 2 tbsp. from N., 2nd century. p., 1 tbsp. s n. In the previous row we knit 1 tbsp. s n. and thread the thread into the arch.

Let's start with the scales. You should have 5 rows of scales. We make the straps of the right boot, knit connecting posts beyond the base and 8 air loops.

We start the row with three sts. p., 1st. from N., 2nd century. p., 1 tbsp., 2 v.p., 2 tbsp. s n. to the end of the row.

We knit 5 scaly rows.

We tie the thread into the boot.

Sew on any buttons.

So our booties are ready.

All the details about knitting crocodile booties (video)

All the details about knitting crocodile booties (video)

Crocodile booties are most often crocheted. But not all needlewomen work with crochet. And what to do if you really like this model of booties, and the descriptions are like
very little? We will combine several knitting techniques: a separate pattern called “scales” and basic knitting
. Knowing how a simple basic model is made, you can safely experiment with the styles and decoration of shoes.

There is a special yarn for children's knitting. Usually its name contains the word Baby. It is hypoallergenic, very soft and gentle to the touch. The main component in such yarn is acrylic or cotton, and natural wool, despite the fact that it is very warm, often causes irritation to delicate sensitive skin. If you still want to work with natural wool, then choose expensive high-quality yarn, for example, alpaca or cashmere, or mixed threads (wool + acrylic, mohair + acrylic).
For booties with this name, yarn of any shade of green is suitable; sectional dyeing thread with smooth color transitions looks especially beautiful.
To work, you will need a set of stocking needles, suitable for the selected yarn in size. You can take a tool one or two sizes smaller, so the booties will be tighter and warmer. If the tool is larger, the product will become more loose and airy.

We knit cuffs with “scales”

The “Crocodiles” cuff is made in the form of scales, hence the name of the booties model. The pattern looks like in the photo.

Below is a detailed diagram of this pattern.
The cuff can be made on two knitting needles, then you will need to make a connecting seam at the back. Or you can use stocking needles in the circle, in which case read the diagram only in one direction - from right to left.
In this example, the cuff is knitted on two needles. Cast on a number of stitches that are multiples of 8 + 2 edge stitches. When calculating the number of loops, keep in mind that this fabric practically does not stretch, so cast on with a small margin so that the leg passes easily.

First row - first the edge stitch (remove it at the beginning of each row), then purl all the loops (hereinafter referred to as IP). In the second, alternate knit stitches (hereinafter referred to as knit stitches) and yarn overs. We start the third by “dropping” the yarn overs (hereinafter H), and knitting the loops (hereinafter P).
Fourth row - we knit seven Ps together IP. If you are knitting very tightly, you can use a crochet hook to pull the thread through the seven loops. Now we knit 7 from the next P. To do this, you need to insert the knitting needle into the P, pull out the thread, make a yarn over, again LP, N, LP, N, LP and only now “throw off” the loop from the left knitting needle. And again seven together. Continue this way until the edge. A number of “scales” are ready! From the fifth to the seventh rows we repeat the work from the beginning. In the eighth, you need to change the order of the “scales” so that they are arranged in a checkerboard pattern. To do this, first we knit 7 P from one, and then we will knit the next 7 IP together.
Knit as many rows as you need for the cuff and bind off all the loops.
Video of learning to knit the “scales” pattern. You can learn more about how to make this pattern by watching the video master class on the Mushyn Igor channel. Now you need to make a neat connecting seam. It can be made using a hook or a needle. Now you can start knitting the booties themselves.

Knitting a bootie

This master class will help you learn how to knit a basic model of children's shoes. This is one of the simplest options, accessible even to novice needlewomen. It is also convenient because the cuff, knitted separately, can be absolutely anything, with any decor, pattern or design. And from there you pick up loops, which later make a shoe.

From our “scaly” cuff we cast on loops on four sides. On one knitting needle we knit a toe using garter or pearl stitch according to the size of the leg.

Now let's cast on loops on the sides of the toe, their number depends on the number of rows cast on. We knit 10 rows in a circle.

We knit the sole, continuing to work on the knitting needle where the toe is located. We knit the loops located on the side knitting needles in each row together with those located on the central one. We continue until all the P's are closed on the sides.

We “change” all the Ps onto one knitting needle and close them, knitting three together.
The Crocodile booties are ready! The finished product can be decorated with beads or buttons.

Booties, crocheted or knitted, are today an integral part of a baby's first wardrobe. Their main function is to gently warm little feet without causing discomfort. The first shoes for a child, knitted with your own hands, can be not only practical, but also very beautiful. In this article we will tell you how to crochet a very original, unusual model, namely, crocodile booties: a step-by-step selection of knitting videos and detailed step-by-step instructions are presented below.

Knitting crocodile booties: video of knitting and patterns used

For clarity, we suggest watching a video with detailed instructions on knitting “scales” and “embossed columns” patterns, as well as step-by-step master classes on creating “crocodile” booties.

Crocodile booties are knitted quite simply, and the pattern turns out to be very interesting and original. To knit them, it is recommended to use special children's yarn, which is particularly soft and safe in composition.

This model will look impressive, even if it is made in one color. However, in this matter you can show your imagination and use several shades of yarn.

For example, alternating stripes with “scales” on cuffs made with yarn of contrasting colors looks beautiful.

Another interesting color scheme for such a model is the use of sectionally dyed yarn with a smooth transition from one color to another.

Or the main part of the booties can be knitted in one color, and the cuff in a second.

Once the yarn and its color have been selected, you can begin knitting booties.

How to crochet crocodile booties correctly and quickly?

These interesting booties got their name from the original cuff made with a “scale” pattern. These boots are ideal for walking on cool summer evenings, as well as on warm autumn days. They will also be comfortable as house shoes.

To knit them you will need a hook number 3 and baby yarn (about 50g), buttons for fastening.

Sole.

Knitting the product begins with the sole. We collect a chain of 14 air loops, then knit according to the pattern presented below.
Depending on the age of the child and the size of his foot, if necessary, we increase the number of rows when knitting the sole. We carry out two such preparations at once.

Side and toe.

We continue knitting in the circle with embossed stitches (see diagram below), in total, to lift, you need to complete 4 rows with this pattern.

Now let's move on to shaping the toe. To do this, we find a central loop on its side, count 9 loops in both directions from it, and mark these points with markers. We continue to knit in a circle, on the selected 18 loops we perform the following:

1st row: knit two stitches together, 9 loops remain;

2nd row: again in this part of the work we knit 2 stitches together, 5 loops remain;

Row 3: knit all 5 remaining stitches together.

Cuff.

The cuff in these booties will have snaps in the middle of the side. Mark this place with a marker and knit to it with connecting posts. We knit further in straight and reverse rows.

We cast on a chain of 8 chain stitches and knit it back with connecting stitches. We continue knitting with the “scales” pattern.

Description of the “scales” pattern:

1st row: 3 chain stitches for lifting, 1 chain stitch, *1 double crochet, 1 chain crochet, 2 double crochets, 1 chain loop* - repeat ** until the end of the row.

2nd row: we knit “scales” on groups of two columns, for this we cast on 3 chain stitches, yarn over the hook and insert it between the two columns of the bottom row, wrap it behind the leg of the first column, knit 4 double crochets. We knit 1 chain stitch, yarn over the hook, wrap it around the leg of the second stitch, and knit 5 double crochets from there. We also knit the second “scale” from the next group of two stitches (5dc from the base of one, ch, 5dc from the base of the second), by analogy we knit to the end of the row.

3rd row: 3 chain stitches for lifting, 1 chain stitch, 2 double crochets from the center of the “scale”, *1 ch, 1 double crochet from the bottom row, 1 chain crochet, 2 double crochets from the center of the “scale”*, repeat ** to the end row.

Row 4: knit “scales” as in the second row.

We knit a total of 8 rows of the pattern (of which 4 are rows of “scales”).

We finish knitting with a row of single crochets in each loop. We cut the thread and hide the tail.

Assembly.

Sew two buttons for fastening to the cuff.

We knit the second bootie by analogy with the first one, we fasten it on the other side.

7-8 cm along the inner insole.
You will need:
Yarn: for the master class I used Sofit yarn (45% wool (laster), 55% silk (artificial), 380 m/100g) in two plies. Yarn with a meter of 250-300 m per 100 grams is also suitable.
Hook No. 2.5
6 buttons

We knit the sole according to the following pattern:

We tie the sole 54 tbsp. without n.

We get:

We break the thread and attach it in the middle of the heel.

From the next row we begin to form an elastic band pattern with crochet. Alternating convex and concave double crochets. The top three images are a convex column, the bottom three are a concave column.

For a convex column, we make a yarn over, bring the hook in from the front side under the column of the previous row, and from the same front side we grab the working thread, pull it out and knit it as usual.

For a concave column, we make a yarn over, insert the hook from the wrong side, grab the thread from the same wrong side and knit it as usual. s n.

In this way we knit three more rows.
We get this boat.

To do this, count 24 loops in the center, approximately from the place where the increase was made on the sole.

We also knit the fifth row, alternating convex and concave double crochets, and knit the central 24 stitches two together.

Thus, 12 loops are formed in the center. In the next, sixth row, we knit these central 12 loops in two with convex columns, i.e. insert the hook from the front side first under the first two columns of the previous row,

we pull out the working thread, knit a stitch with a stitch. not completely

then insert the hook under the next two columns of the previous row, grab the thread, and do not knit it completely. And then we knit two stitches together.

This results in six loops in the center.

In the seventh row, we knit the central seven loops together with convex columns. Thus, there should be 6 unknitted stitches on the hook. s n.

We knit them all together and get one:

We tie the row to the end.

The right one differs from the left one in the formation of a strip with loops.

For the left boot, we use connecting stitches almost to the middle and knit 8 chain stitches. +1v. lifting point, and knit these 8 loops back with connecting posts.

We connect with the boot and knit the first row according to the pattern: 3 ch. rise, 2 ch, skip two loops, 2 tbsp. s n. in the next two loops, ch 2, skip two loops, 1 st. s n. next loop, etc. according to the pattern, knitting and loops of the strap.

Let's finish !NECESSARILY! two tbsp. s n. Because this will be the first buttonhole. We get:

We knit 5 tbsp. s n. perpendicular to the first st. with n., inserting a hook between two posts.

Next, we also tie the remaining arches from 2 dc. Having reached the end of the row, turn the knitting and knit another row: 3 ch. rise, *2 vp, 2 tbsp. with n., 2 v.p., 1 tbsp. with n.* Only now in the arch of two columns of the previous row we knit 1 tbsp., and where there was 1 tbsp. s n. - knit 2 tbsp. s n.

Next row we knit “scales”.

There should be a total of 5 rows of scales.

For the strap with eyelets of the right boot, we knit the connecting posts a little further from the middle. Next 8 ch.

We knit the first row: 3 ch. lifting (replaces 1 tbsp. with n.), 1 tbsp. with n., *2 v.p., 1 treble with n., 2 v.p., 2 tbsp. with n.* to the end of the row.

!Attention! Here, on the contrary, we start with two tbsp. with n., because this will be the first buttonhole. It is advisable to finish 1 tbsp. s n.

After five rows of “scales” we get:

We do not break the thread, but tie the top with a “crawfish step”. We break and hide the thread.

All that remains is to sew on the buttons.

And finally, a photo shoot of the finished product:
