To ensure that homework in the form of vegetable crafts for kindergarten is completed perfectly, we recommend viewing the best options for master classes.

Ship made of zucchini

  1. We prepare a zucchini, 30-40 cm long and 7-10 cm in diameter. It needs to be rinsed under water and dried with towels.
  2. We place the zucchini on the most stable side so that its back end (with the spine) is slightly raised. If the vegetable does not want to become the way you want, then it is easy to cut it a little at the bottom to make the bottom even. With this treatment, the boat will not fall or tilt to the sides.
  3. We cut out the upper part of the zucchini so that the edges of the vegetable remain untouched by 5-7 cm. In this way, we form the nose and back of the ship closed.
  4. If, after cutting out the top part, you can reach the seeds and entrails, then you need to pull them out and completely clean the zucchini of seeds. After this procedure, it is better to dry the vegetable with paper towels.
  5. Using a knife on one side and the other in the center of the zucchini, we cut out small square windows (3 pieces each), with a width of 1-2 cm on each side. This way we will have a hole so that we can insert the “oars of the ship”.
  6. Near such windows, a vegetable anchor is cut out with a knife or a ready-made accessory (made of cardboard, carrots, zucchini skin, etc.) is attached.
  7. At the beginning and end of the ship we insert wooden skewers, 10-15 cm long. Instead of them, it is allowed to take green branches of a bush or a vine.
  8. In the center of the vegetable ship we insert similar skewers exactly vertically, this will be the basis for the sails.
  9. We prepare sails from cardboard or thick colored paper. They can be different sizes or the same, large or small, rectangular or square - all this is at the request of the child.
  10. We string the sails onto skewers, bending the cardboard slightly. In this way, “inflated” sails of a vegetable ship are obtained.
  11. Through the outer skewers and the central, highest one, we pull a thread that will imitate ropes.
  12. We insert small wooden toothpicks or sticks into the cut out windows; this will be the basis of the oars of the vegetable ship.
  13. Using plasticine, we sculpt the edges of the oars and attach them to the poles, which are already ready.
  14. You can decorate a zucchini ship with any kind of people, animals, or cartoon characters.

Eggplant penguin

  1. To make this vegetable craft for kindergarten very beautiful, you need to prepare several medium-sized eggplants with a bright purple and black coloring.
  2. We take a knife with a small tip (possibly a stationery knife) and begin work.
  3. The green caps of the eggplants do not need to be removed, these will be the caps of the penguins. But on the other hand, the root should be cut evenly so that the animals are stable.
  4. Using a knife, cut out 2 eyes from the vegetable, at a level of 1.5-2 cm from the top cap. A little lower we make a round hole for the nose.
  5. Take a small carrot, cut off 2 cm from its lower end and insert such a nose into the resulting hole for the nose.
  6. We use a knife to outline an oval on the “belly” of the vegetable penguins and peel the inside of the eggplant to the green pulp. From the skins that remain, we cut out several circles with a diameter of 1 cm and, using a toothpick, pin them in the center of the “belly”. In this way we obtained unusual buttons on the belly of animals.
  7. Using a knife, carefully make a small cut in the skin on the left and right sides of the eggplant and turn it 2-3 cm upward. This way you will get penguin wings.
  8. You can decorate the original vegetable craft with greens, autumn leaves, artificial snow or stones.

Cool faces or pumpkin men

  1. We take several small pumpkins, wash them and dry them.
  2. Using a can of spray paint, coat each pumpkin with bright orange or yellow paint. We wait until the vegetable dries.
  3. Using a black or dark brown felt-tip pen, a thin marker or a greasy pencil, draw the contours of the eyes, nose, mouth (if you want to create an unusual craft, you are allowed to add teeth, mustaches, glasses, moles, nostrils).
  4. We paint the eyes, nose, mouth with the desired colors (blue, white, red shades of felt-tip pens).
  5. Similarly, on the vegetable we draw the edges of the hair or hat and paint it in the appropriate color.
  6. We put the pumpkin men on a tray, decorate them with leaves, belts, earrings, beads, and other accessories and present them!

  3. We take one black olive as a head and pin it to the cauliflower using a toothpick.
  4. Using a knife, cut small pieces of the olive on the sides to make ears.
  5. We do the same with the eyes. To make them look more organic, it is allowed to use grains of round rice, buckwheat or white berries. The eyes are glued on with artificial ones from old small toys.
  6. It is advisable to place the resulting vegetable lambs on green grass, moss, or create a special composition for them.

  2. To make the vegetable figures stable, one edge of the bottom should be cut off a little with a knife.
  3. We knead multi-colored plasticine in our hands and make eyes, a nose, and a mouth for each Smesharik.
  4. In order for the vegetable craft to be spectacular, the body parts of the characters should be made in the same color that is used in the body (onion with orange, beet with purple, lemon with yellow, etc.)
  5. Place the resulting vegetable Smeshariki on a beautiful tray, having previously laid out the base with grass or autumn leaves. Such a simple craft will be even more original if it is supplemented with small colorful mushrooms, berries and fruits.

  3. Cut 2 potato circles, 1 cm wide for the ears, and pin them similarly to the head using toothpicks or wooden skewers.
  4. We cut off several small pieces from the potatoes for legs and arms and attach them in the same way.
  5. Using colored paper and scissors, we cut out eyes, nose, mouth, and buttons for the body for the Cheburashka. Glue them with glue to the dried potatoes.
  6. Cut the cucumber into 2 pieces in proportions of 60%, 40%. The larger piece will serve as the body, and the smaller one needs to be cut from the entire edge and inserted a small piece of a toothpick. In this way we get an open mouth; we attach it to the body with a skewer.

If you plan to create accessories for Halloween, then you definitely need to take a pumpkin, zucchini or watermelon and make unusual shapes out of them. The easiest way to do an excellent job is to analyze ready-made vegetable crafts in photographs and the methods for making them. We suggest considering the best options:

With the arrival of autumn, kindergartens are filled with holidays, where it is customary to organize competitions for children's crafts made by children. Even the busiest parents can make vegetable crafts with their kids. It’s very easy to keep your child occupied by using available materials from vegetables.

You can list the options for crafts made from potatoes for a very long time, these include potato figurines, ladybugs, chickens, Smeshariki, snowmen, horses, and much more. Once carried away by the creative process, the child will develop fine motor skills, which will be very useful for him. Children over 5 years old are already allowed to pick up matches (whose sulfur heads have been broken off) and toothpicks, with the help of which various elements are attached to potato crafts.

We called our first craft “horse”.

We take several pieces of potatoes of unequal size: the pear-shaped one is best used for the body, and the small round one is best used for the head.

The mane and tail of this potato horse are made of threads, and the bridle is made of ribbon. Remember that potatoes are safe for babies and are excellent for their development. No one forbids you to additionally use small twigs, feathers, plasticine and other materials that are harmless to the child.

Now let's start making figurines from potatoes: Smeshariki, cockerels and snowmen.

At first, you can use plasticine to create such crafts. The simplest option is to take a raw potato tuber, which will serve as the body, and sculpt legs, arms, as well as a scarf, hat or flower with a ribbon on the hat from plasticine.

We are sure that the child will like such creativity. Having made several of these funny creatures, your baby will want to play with them and depict episodes from fairy tales or cartoons.

We offer a number of other options for making simple children's crafts from vegetables. Funny smeshariki are made not only with potatoes, but also with tomatoes, apples, citrus fruits and even peppers.

A snowman's headdress is made from foil or colored paper. For this purpose, cut out a strip of foil and sew it into a ring.

Of course, creating snowman parts is done using toothpicks. Due to their severity, children should do this under adult supervision. The smile, nose and eyes of the snowman, and the base on which it will rest are made from plasticine.

It will look no less attractive in kindergarten among other crafts. potato ladybug.

This craft is done in this way: cut the potatoes in half and use red plasticine to sculpt the back of the cow. For this purpose, roll out the plasticine in a thin layer and wrap half of the potatoes. Next, roll a ball out of black plasticine, cut it in half and get the head of a bug.

The other part of the black plasticine will be used to make the paws and spots on the back. For the eyes of our insect we should use white plasticine.

Another fun potato craft is a stamp.

Despite its simplicity, making this craft will seem no less exciting.

So, take a potato tuber and cut it in half. In the cut area we cut out a certain figure - it could be a Christmas tree, a geometric figure, a butterfly, a flower, a leaf, a hedgehog or something similar. This is how we will make a blank stamp for drawing.

It is very simple to work with: the child needs to grab the potato with his fingers and dip it in paints of various shades, after which he can put prints on paper.

By making several similar stamps with different images, you will give your child great joy, because he will have the opportunity to quickly create various designs and even entire compositions. Perhaps this way you will awaken artistic talent in your child.

In this lesson, we demonstrated a lot of options for children's crafts made from potatoes with their own hands, which can captivate kids and develop their creative abilities.
