Now let's construct point T2. But first, place point T1, stepping back from the right corner of the shorts pattern grid to the left by 2 cm and up by 1.5 cm.
Now set aside a segment equal to 21 cm from point T1 to the left. According to the formula: Т1Т2=St/2 + Рв (folds, tuck opening), that is, in this example: 36/2 + 3 = 21.

How to sew high-waisted shorts with your own hands: job description

We sew the side, middle and step sections of both halves. We sew darts on all halves.

Iron the darts towards the center of the halves.

At the same time, draw a hem line for the bottom and immediately iron it. We cut out the facing.

We lay the fabric face to face, put the front half on top, the middle cut of which protrudes 1 cm, since the facing is folded. Then we put on the back half.
