How to make a small Christmas tree from tinsel. Master class: Christmas tree made of tinsel. Manufacturing consists of several steps

Step 1.
Use pre-prepared green strips 30, 20, 15 and 10 cm long. Twist them with a toothpick, then remove and let the strips unravel a little. Secure the end of each strip with PVA glue and give all the spirals a drop shape by pinching and slightly pulling one of the ends of the spiral upward.

Step 2.
Wrap the wide green strips tightly around a toothpick and glue the tip to them, preventing it from unraveling. This is the trunk of your Christmas tree.

Step 3.
For the top of the tree, make a drop from a green strip 30 cm long.

Step 4.
Start assembling the Christmas tree, securing its elements with instant glue. Glue the barrel parts together and let the glue dry.

Step 5.
Insert a toothpick inside the trunk and glue droplets-twigs. Start gluing with the smallest branches that are attached to the top of the tree.

Step 6.
Make toys from yellow and pink stripes by rolling the paper without using a toothpick. You can secure the ends of the strips before the paper unwinds, or you can make the toys a little looser and give them the shape of small droplets. Glue the balls to the branches you like.

Step 7
Glue the drop at the very top - don't forget about it! - secure the decoration.

Step 8
If you wish, you can make a stand for the Christmas tree. To do this, you need to make nine curls from white paper strips. Glue the curls tightly together and secure the tree to the snowy white stand with glue. For complete naturalness, the stand can be decorated with cotton wool.

Method number 4 - New Year tree made of cardboard

You will need:
colored cardboard;
glue;
scissors;
hole puncher;
a small stick with a diameter approximately equal to the diameter of the holes that are obtained from the hole punch;
decorations.

There is very little time left until the New Year! And what would New Year be without a green Christmas tree? Of course, a large and real Christmas tree is very beautiful, but you can also make a small one, which you can put, for example, in the kitchen for decoration or make it one of the components of the New Year's tree.
To make this little green beauty we will need:

  • medium density cardboard;
  • green tinsel with an average diameter of 3-5 cm;
  • small multi-colored pom-poms;
  • super glue or any other glue;
  • scissors;
  • red wrapping paper.
Using scissors, cut out a square of approximately 20x20 centimeters from medium-density cardboard.

Next, we make a cone from this cardboard square and glue its edges using super glue. We trim the bottom of the cone with scissors so that our future Christmas tree stands straight.

At our house we already had a purchased star-bow for the top of the Christmas tree, but you can easily make one yourself from bright red wrapping paper.

And using super glue or double-sided tape, glue the star to the top of the cone.

Then, again, glue one of the ends of the green tinsel onto the glue. We do this right under the asterisk. And we wrap our cone from top to bottom with tinsel. At the bottom, it is again necessary to glue the end of the tinsel, otherwise our Christmas tree will “bloom.”

Well, now the fun part! Decorating our Christmas tree. I recently bought a craft made from pompoms for my eldest son, and after making it we had some extra pompoms left.

In principle, instead of them, you can use anything for decoration, for example, make small bows from narrow satin ribbons or decorate with snowflakes cut out of colored paper. In general, who has enough imagination for what?
Well, we decorated our Christmas tree with multi-colored pompoms, carefully gluing them to the tinsel with super glue in a chaotic manner. And added three silver snowflakes.

Here we have such an elegant little Christmas tree. The child persuaded me to make it the main component of our New Year’s composition for kindergarten on the theme “Winter Fantasy”.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Tinsel Christmas tree: a detailed step-by-step master class with a large number of photographs on how to make a tinsel Christmas tree with your own hands

On the eve of the New Year holidays, as a rule, we spend a lot of time shopping in search of gifts for family and friends. Meanwhile, the most original, sincere and memorable gifts are those that are made with your own hands.

Tinsel Christmas tree

This master class will tell you how you can make your own Christmas tree out of tinsel - an indispensable attribute of the New Year. We will use very simple materials that are found in almost every home. This tinsel tree can be given as a gift, or can be used as an effective addition to New Year’s interior decor.

Materials for a tinsel tree

So, for work you will need the following materials: a piece of foam plastic, tinsel, an empty yogurt cup, plaster (alabaster, plaster), New Year's balls and decorations, decorative ribbons and cords, polysilk (can be replaced with any beautiful wrapping paper), hot melt adhesive, double-sided tape, wire.

First you need to prepare the future base for the tinsel tree. To do this, in a clean plastic cup, dilute gypsum powder (or any other binding material) with water in the ratio recommended by the manufacturer. The resulting mixture should fill the glass by about a third. We install the future tree trunk in the center of the glass. In this master class, an ordinary branch from a tree was used for these purposes (before use, the branch must be washed, dried and coated with acrylic paint). The branch can be replaced with a wooden skewer or thick wire. The glass must be left in this form until the plaster dries completely.

At this time, you can start making the Christmas tree itself. To do this, cut out a cone-shaped shape from a piece of foam plastic using a hot knife. If the tree is planned to be large, you may first have to glue together several sheets of foam plastic to increase its thickness and make the size proportional to the height.

Next, we glue a circle of paper onto the base of the cone, and cover the sides with polysilic (here it is most convenient to use double-sided tape). This is necessary so that the foam is not visible in the finished product in the future.

At the next stage, we glue small squares of double-sided tape along the entire side surface of the cone. The tinsel will be held on it in the future. Then we wrap the cone with rain (tinsel), starting from the top, while at the top of the head it is necessary to leave a small free tip to decorate the top of the tree.

Having wrapped the form, the free end of the tinsel must be carefully secured at the base.

To decorate the top, we insert a thin wire into the top of the cone (preferably dark in color so that it is not visible), bend the wire into an arc and wrap it with the remaining tip of the tinsel, fixing this position with glue. Then we make a loop from a small piece of ribbon or cord, hang a New Year's ball on it, and glue the free ends of the loop to the top of the tree.

It's time to combine the tree with the base. To do this, simply pin a cone-shaped shape on the tip of the branch (for better fastening, the branch can be pre-treated with hot glue).

Now let's start decorating the cup for the Christmas tree. Using tape, wrap it with a sheet of polysilic.

We fill the free space inside with foam plastic (this is necessary so that in the future you can place sweets on a stick in the cup by sticking them into the foam).

If sweets are not planned, the cup can be filled with other material (paper, sawdust, etc.) The foam plastic should be covered with decorative material (sisal fibers, for example).

To assemble a decorative bow for decorating a glass, sew the ribbon with thread, as shown in the photo.

Now we tighten the thread tightly until a bow is formed. You can glue a bead or bell on top of the bow.

Then we wrap the cup along its entire height with cord, securing the ends with glue. We decorate the top of the glass with a bow.

Tie several beautiful bows from ribbons; they can be additionally decorated with twigs, bells, and small toys.

Then distribute the decorations evenly over the surface of the tree, securing with hot glue.

A Christmas tree is a traditional attribute of a celebration; it is not always possible or desirable to use a real live spruce and its images from various materials are quite capable of replacing the original, creating a festive mood. There are several options for making a tinsel tree with your own hands. We will look below at how to make your own Christmas tree from multi-colored tinsel with your own hands.

How to make a tinsel tree with your own hands on the wall

Wall applique can be done quickly using a few push pins or a furniture stapler. Having outlined the outline, simply attach the tinsel at the main points to the wall, so that the material sags just at the bends. Decorate the Christmas tree with a paper star and rain. Thus, in 10 minutes the interior of the office office becomes more elegant and festive. The size and color of the tinsel are selected according to the location on the wall.

Volumetric application on the wall will require a little more time and materials. First you need to make a frame. The easiest way is to use regular cardboard, suitable in size, or assemble a base from several pieces of thick paper, fastened with fabric or the same paper using a stapler. On the back of the craft you need to provide loops so that you can hang the Christmas tree anywhere you want. They secure the tinsel with threads, glue or a stapler, first around the perimeter of the frame, and then fill the space inside with it. A voluminous Christmas tree on a rigid paper frame can support a small garland and several Christmas tree decorations.

Let's try to make souvenir Christmas trees quickly and easily with our own hands

How would you like a Christmas tree as a souvenir or decoration on your desktop? Volumetric tabletop trees are made on a cone-shaped frame made of whatman paper, wallpaper or thick paper. Cut out a quarter or half of a circle with a radius equal to the height of the planned craft and twist it around the center, gluing the edges. Next, the tinsel is secured with paper clips at the base of the cone and wound, secured with glue, to the very top, where it is fixed with thread or a paper clip. You can stick decorations made of paper, beads, and small Christmas tree decorations on the Christmas tree.

You can also “sweeten” the souvenir tree by sticking various candies onto the frame cone in advance using tape. A candy tree will delight any child and adult with a sweet tooth. You can make such a gift in a few simple steps:

  1. Prepare the conical frame as shown in the pictures above.
  2. Secure the first row of tinsel with PVA glue or transparent tape.
  3. Use sticky tape to hang a garland of sweets.

4-7. Row by row, attach tinsel alternately with garlands of candies

  1. Secure the last row of tinsel with thread or a paper clip

You can choose the color of the wrappers and the size of the candies and create a completely “candy” original Christmas tree, decorating it with tinsel. The basis of such a Christmas tree can be a piece of rolled wire.

Using a needle and thread, tie the candies in rows and secure them to the wire. Please note that you will have to tie some candies inside the tree to give volume to the craft. The top rows of candies can simply be strung on a wire, having previously made holes in the candy wrappers with a needle, scissors or an awl. The top of the wire must be covered with some kind of cap; it is best to secure a small decorative New Year's star with plasticine. Place multi-colored tinsel in several rows between the candies to give the tree additional splendor and shine. It is advisable to place a Christmas tree made in this way on a stand so that the candies do not hang down.

The version of a Christmas tree made of wire and tinsel will require a little skill and the presence of the wire itself of the required rigidity and diameter. A “trunk” made of thick, strong wire is attached to a stand made of wood or plywood. A thinner wire in the form of a funnel in a spiral is attached to it. Building such a funnel is not difficult; you just need to carefully wrap the wire in a spiral on a solid base, for example, on a table, and then pull out the center to give it a voluminous conical shape. From a long thick wire you can prepare a frame without a stand and a “trunk”, as shown in the figure. Tinsel, toys and other decorations are attached to such a wire skeleton.

Christmas tree made of cones:

Christmas trees made from natural materials have been very popular lately. It’s easy to make an original holiday gift with your own hands from fir and pine cones framed with tinsel.
